My darling husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary on New Year’s Day – 16 years married, 22 years together. Jesse is an engineer – he’s practical, objective, absolutely honest, brilliant at fixing things. He once repaired an uncooperative microwave by hitting it upside the head with a rubber mallet - his version of what engineers call a Drop Fix.
I, of course, am an artsy romantic and a committed Luddite, preferring my little written calendar book to any app on the phone or the computer, no matter how much more functional it may be. We adore each other deeply! But we do sometimes run into… ummm, differences….
