It’s September already.
The summer has flown by, as time seems to do these days.
My Inner DJ started singing to me this morning – only she was singing
in the voice of George Ball. (She’s very versatile that way!)
A few years ago, George and I recorded a gorgeous CD together that included
September Song. George brings that song to life in a way
that lets us feel all that he’s experienced, loved, lost, learned in his life,
and with one of the deepest and truest voices ever.
I had the joy of co-producing and arranging the entire CD with the brilliant
Stephan Oberhoff. There were moments in the studio when George’s
heart and honesty brought Stephan and I to tears.
This song is one of those moments.
