Think About the Bad Times: Eine Kleine Trunk Musik

Recently I heard two different people say “I think there’s a light at the end of the tunnel – and it’s not a train!”. It triggered a song that I wrote with Karen Gottlieb in 1984 and had forgotten about for decades.

I love the way Karen turns familiar phrases on their ear: “There’s a tunnel at the end of every light… For every sunny day, there’s one hard cold night”. Once again – so apt for these weird, scary, dark times. And yet it does seem like we’re moving a little closer to that light. So please hang on, everyone, stay safe and stay well.

We’ll get there!!
